Predestined for Glory

Dear Rhea,
The Holy spirit has motivated me ,to write a few lines to you, as you are planning to further pursue your studies abroad. Perhaps I would not get an opportunity later . I remain his humble servant . I try to utter only if he allows, on the contrary ,if at all I attempt, it ends up powerless…As Paul says in 1 Cor 2 : 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.
At office today , I was assigning my work load and duties to be taken over by someone else in my absence ,as I am approaching my annual leave for India, this weekend onwards . But as usual ,things get done only when I snap the alarm bell from India. Or else nothing moves ; unless and until I move in India , no work proceeds . Its been a repetition over all these years. Thats the norm. I said I had booked the ticket this time on Spice jet , only for my flesh body man. My spirit and soul is not travelling … humorously enough , i got a small laugh about it … Which means i have to literally continue my work even during the vacation. The other day a cousin of mine pregnant , carrying twins , had an unexpected delivery , where she lost the baby boy and only the baby girl came out alive. Her husband , very close to me , was grieving over all the deaths occurred so far in his life , which included losing his both parents at a small age and now his baby boy. Its natural to ask , why Lord why ? I asked the Lord the same question ? The reply which came to my heart was a very sharp and powerful boomerang :- “ God used the womb of Mary , to kill his own son.” It doesn’t reflect his nature , but his bigger purpose which would be revealed in totality ,only at a later stage , eventually glorifying his nature. God will use us in different ways to bring about glory.Not everything what happens around seem to be pleasant initially at the forefront.

Imagine if the Principal of a school has been watching over you, since your grade 1, behind your back , he has been aspiring your complete victory , being a silent admirer . He saw you growing ,before His own eyes with adoration, of what you would become until you reached 12th grade…He knew your strength & weakness as an observer , even better than you knew about yourself . He was like your secret mentor even without your knowledge. You were the culmination of his dreams and aspirations. When you passed 12th with all flying colors , he offered you the best education in the ideal place suiting your abilities, even without you recognizing it . He was awaiting , to reward you , this ideal education all these years for the better . Our Father in heaven works the same way , don’t have to look back or introspect, his ways are the best .He designs our path . He knows us , more than we knew ourself. You are not going or relocating yourself because you intended or your parents intended, of course there is a role and place for that , but the Grand weaver had decided it before the foundation of the earth . Eph 2: 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
God always looks and interacts with us currently , to the glorified end product who we would become. He sees the completed product in his mind at current situation. Though Peter betrayed him, He was looking at Peter all the while as the Glorified end product personality- as Peter, the rock of the Church , not the current situation Peter who betrayed him. Like Peter we always look at ourselves of what we are in the current situation . We assess our strength, fears and apprehensions based on our current situation. But God always look at us , in line with the glorified end product. We need to look at ourselves every moment as the glorified superior end product who is God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Jesus looked at himself not as mere man passing this world, but as the Glorious personality – the Son of God who would sit on his right hand of the Father.
You might be thinking about how you would stay alone far away from deared ones. But I want to correct you , there is some one always with you , The mighty presence of God .
Ex 33 :1 4 The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” He is with you always , but even more surprisingly , before you reach to your destination , you will find something even more interesting . There were 2 personalities sent ahead of you, ready to receive you when you reach there. Ex 33: 19 And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy.
Those 2 angels who were sent ahead of you are Goodness and Mercy , Ps 23 :6 Surely your goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life.
So there is a crowd of people ,wherever you are placed to take care of you. Its God plan that would ultimately come to pass. Be thrilled every moment , on how it would come to pass. Needn’t fear anything , as you are travelling with the Royal guards , with the King of kings. We are not second class citizens, but a royal citizens of Heaven in the same grade as Kings and Priests .(Rev 5:10)
Before you were born,God planned every moment in your life. It's not an accident nor is it our fate nor is it just another day. He chose you, not for your sake. HE brought you to where you are now , not for your sake . It's not your plan nor your choice. Every physical entity no matter how much you section it, doesn't have any reason in itself to explain it's existence. Any physical object always needs a reason outside itself to define it's existence. An apple's origin can be traced only outside it - the apple tree. There is no physical entity that can explain it's own origin and existence in itself. Similarly man' s existence and his future cannot be found in himself. Its in God that we can explain every moment of our life. Eph 1:11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,12:in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.
Congrats for all your acheivements and just keep reflecting whom God has made you to be, the eternal spirit man wherever you are placed . Strengthen your spirit man on a daily basis with the word of God. You are sent out , not to accomplish your own purpose , but to accomplish His purpose .Aren’t you willing to accomplish His will in your life, that’s what is happening now. We are all travelling in the supreme will of the father . If its the Father’s will , its his responsibility to take care of his daughter who is walking in His will. You can leave that part to Him. Just do his will….

I want to bless you with the below verse as you move forward in life…….God has set a time in your life, a perfect time where you will gradually travel into being his dearest daughter , being his heir and possessed by the comforter ,the guider ,the wonderful counselor ,the bold, loving Holy spirit
Gal 4. What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. 2 The heir is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father. 3 So also, when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world. 4 But when the set time had fully come,God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. 6 Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” 7 So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

Trust
Name your closest friends name …? What made you start the friendship ?..... the answer is Trust.
Where does Trust emerge from ? Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding(Pro 3:5). And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.(Ex 14: 31). The hearts of the people leaned over to Moses. Trust always emerges from our heart , not from our logical thinking of mind. Trust develops in our inner man, in our spirit . When we trust someone, we lean over to them, as mentioned in proverbs.

I heard there could be a law in India that all churches would be closed ........Ponder that incident in your mind . Pls tell yourself honestly , what was the first thought which came to your mind when I made the above statement . Its just an example to demonstrate how our mind works…
What is trust ?
The path of journey our mind first travels to the most esteemed place our wisdom reaches out to. When Job was put in suffering , his mind travelled to an esteemed place , where his wisdom took him , …towards God. We know the story of Lot's wife…, where was the esteemed place , her mind first travelled to…her trust was on her Physical wealth. Trust is different from Faith .
What is the condition of our heart ?
Jer17:9” The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?” ,. But our heart is a hub of our fallen state. Our heart mostly drives us into deceitful thoughts rather than Trust . Trust in God is called Godliness . We give different definitions for Godliness . We assume that coming to church and Sunday school regularly , attending the poor and needy is true Godliness in general . But truly speaking , Godliness is a trust in God which a mind with perseverance or patience produces brotherly kindness . (2 pet 1: 6-7, “ and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, brotherly affection “ ). Trust in God is Godliness, we cannot develop trust all of a sudden . Trust in God or Godliness could be only displayed by a mind which can presevere , endure or observe patience. Such a mind leads us to Trust resulting in Brotherly love. Look at the Mind of Christ in any instance… you can see where the mind of Christ travelled in any situation . Christ endured the Cross proving his trust or Godliness towards His Father , thus resulting in display of brotherly love as the outcome of the cross. Trust is the cross bridge of our life where our patience results in Brotherly love. Trust among your family also works in a similar way . When we observe patience with our fellow brothers or our family , we are putting our Trust on them resulting in brotherly love. Its impossible to display brotherly love just like that , it can be harnessed only when patience & trust precede it . This is where we fail at times. We feel that we are displaying brotherly love to others , but others are not perceiving it . My dear friend, did you display patience & trust in the first place ..? If not , others cannot experience your brotherly love . This is what the word reveals to us .

Does God trust you more than you trust God? Yes that is very true, God trusts you more than you trust in God. Do you know how much God values & trusts you? By in such large measure that He has entrusted the Holy spirit himself to us as a gift . He values us so much ,that he has given us the Holy spirit. Behold ,the trust Jesus had on a Peter, who betrayed him . The trusts God has on each one of us, even though we are unworthy is amazing .
2Tim 2: 11 Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him,we will also live with him;
13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.
What is the Nazareth Manifesto ? The Nazereth Manifesto begins ( Luke 4: 18 / Isa 61: 1 ) with saying that …all the ministry of Jesus and disciples could be done only by the Holy Spirit . Only a trust worthy person could be a true disciple of Jesus. The first Christ based community , his followers were simple men and women. He called the young people to lead the KOG. The unqualified were qualified. God is calling each one of us to take part in this trust worthy life in the Holy Spirit. When God trusted you by giving the Holy spirit , how are we walking now…. God did not leave us with something blind and void to Trust on. He gave us the Holy Spirit himself to Trust and lean upon. Let your spirit and mind travel tto an esteemed place ( rather person) called the Holy spirit where there is no limit in the Wisdom.

What is a trust worthy life for us as a christ based community ?
Are others welcome to share a life we live with Jesus. Are strangers welcome in our midst . Today religion is used as a barrier than to unite others. Its a like a momentary arrangement of coexistence . Do we interact with others and share wisdom with others. Only the word of God can transform others . Is their brotherly love. We assume that trustworthy life is possible only in heaven. If we cannot coexist here together, why should we live together with God, eternally. You can Trust God from the first ray of sunshine every day until the endless path of Dawns of your Life .

When we witness the life of Christ by sharing the word of God, beholding His glory by the revelation of the Holy spirit , it is…. ----HELP

When our authority is questioned, Courage is the perfect love displayed by a transformed mind with clarity and boldness, by the complete filling of the Holy spirit with faith, promise and eternal hope....even unto death .” ----COURAGE
​
Trust observed for a longer, constant period of time .growing in God’s wisdom, blooms into….. ----LOYALTY .
​
True Giving is accomplishment of God’s will in our life performed in love , where faith overcomes reason , followed by a pain or loss in our physical. ----GIVING

We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

How long does our mind carry Gods Love.? There are more times when our mind is in state of hate with others . After writing this note I went to LuLu to get some chopped fishes. I had asked the man to put the cut fishes in 4 covers, instead he put everthing in 1 cover. On asking him to repack it again, he made me wait for another 10 min,my natural mind made all the judgements & legal assumptions within the small time I received. I realized how weak I am. The hate comes to our mind very easily & naturally. That is our intial reaction & we assume a satisfaction in hating.
Is it true? The bible says Titus 3:3 quotes “At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. “
The bible itself depicts the conditioned mind of a natural man . Even if the person doesn’t communicate or is stranger to you, our mind always tries to distance and create an hatred for no reason . One remark may also even create a bitterness for a life time . At times our mind tries to make up a reason to hate. Our natural flesh body mind has a weak character of keeping record of each & every detail of the atrocity or rebuke encountered from another person. This is the deceitfulness of our mind as mentioned in Jer17:9. Does God hate us all the time? Does He carry our same attitude? Our mind has a tendency to always keep a photographic memory .
The Bible says people who have unbelief are always tossed by past thoughts, feelings & become double minded.James 1:6-8 ” But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt,12 because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.7 That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man,13 unstable14 in all he does.
The wisdom which we carry in our mind is wordly and even though we carry a bookish God’s wisdom ,it is not sufficient enough or falls short to help in times of hatred or anger. What do you mean when we say that we always tend to think in the flesh? It means our heart actually deceives us telling that the stranger or the person in front of me is- what his flesh body character displays. We believe that this flesh body personality is his or her actual identity; there is in no way I will interact with him. Imagine if God was to think in a likely manner. We can never approach God. We can never be around him because of his Holiness. Actually we create a superficial or a false holiness around us and separate ourselves from this particular person. But the truth is we are actually separating ourselves from God. We may assume, we are just keeping a gap. But its truly separation from God & the man created in the image of God. This separation is created by our own mind. Separation from a person is actually unforgiveness.
Roman5:8-10 “ But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! 10 For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! “
. But God loved us not when we were friendly with him, but when we were enemies. This is true love. We adults keep a photo memory in our mind about the person in enemity or confronted with bad remarks or black spots all over his character image in our mind.We believe this person is in no way can be seen otherwise.How then could God love us ? In old testament ,when Aaron the high priest had to intercede for the people’s sin with the perfect lamb, God always was looking at the perfectness of the high priest & the sacrificial lamb. Much more is when Jesus became our high priest and perfect lamb , God never looked at our imperfections. God is not hating us because He always sees the Jesus in us. That is why he is able to love us all the time. God always has a hope about us. He has started a work in us & God is confident that it will be completed until the day of Christ as per Phil 1:6. We need to have hope in others that they will grow into the maturity of christ , always give them an opportunity to come back.
Do we see a Jesus in all others?
God always sees the glory in our Inner spiritman Eph3:16 “That he would grant you, according to the riches of glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man”
There is a need for our mind to glory the image of God in the inner spiritman in each & every person we meet in our lives. A person’ spirit man is his actual image , not the one in flesh body. The spirit man is like Jesus, he needs to be interacted with . Our interactions are always the flesh body man. The spirit man has the wisdom & understanding of Jesus, do we show patience and give an opportunity to check that out.
Our true encounter with God is measured in how much we see a Jesus in others. In which case, a maid at the restaurant to the angry boss in your work place , everyone is created in Jesus image. Can we radically look at them as Jesus and love them .If you can then you have transformed .When you see Jesus, everthing changes, He is so full of love. Brotherly love to everyone is the true sign of our transformation. The environment or the surrounding doesn’t matter. You become a different person when we actually encounter Jesus. Your enemy becomes your target of love. What is the gospel to us ? It is to soak in the love of Jesus; that every person you meet is also Jesus, you never feel like an orphan again. You don’t feel like a need to be needed. Whether a man is leprous or is broken or a king in the palace, every single person is created in the image of God and lovable.
Luke10:27 becomes a reality in our Life (He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'a;1 and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'b "2)
This verse includes loving in all body,soul & spirit. All our theology ends in this. Lot of times we can’t love others because we don’t know how God sees us or loves us. If we knew it, we would see others in the same way . Like a Bridegroom & as a Father .His memory about us, is always like Jesus,spotless , no photographic memory of our hatreds or a record of our sins. Oh it’s a clean slate, always ready to forgive & love . Where ever God's love reside, forgiveness is unhesitant, it doesn’t wait to analyse. If you have experienced Gods love , then forgiveness is a natural thing which flows out from you. If we don’t forgive others , how then can God forgive us. We know the parables.
Mind-wandering consists of the train of thoughts and the stream of consciousness. After an error, older adults take longer to return focus back to the task when compared with younger adults. It is possible that older adults reflect more about an error due to careful meticulousness. Research has shown that older adults tend to be more carefully meticulous than young adults. Our mind needs justice always. Anything short is not acceptable. There is a natural law which controls our mind and tells us between right and wrong. It works against the law of the Spirit. The justice for the person with the Holy Spirit is different from the natural man’ justice . 1Cor 2:14-15 “14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15 The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments.
Three executive functions that relate to our human mind are inhibiting, updating and shifting:-
Inhibiting controls a person's attention and thoughts when distractions are abundant.
Updating reviews old information and replaces it with new information in the working memory.
Shifting controls the ability to go between multiple tasks.
When we see a Jesus in others it helps to
Control our thoughts- not judge by appearances of the Flesh body man.
Update or renew our memory with a new wisdom- it can destroy strongholds like unforgiveness & hate
Shift our will with the Will of God-captive to Obedience of Christ
2Cor10:3- 7 “3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 6 And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete. 7 You are judging by appearances. If anyone is confident that they belong to Christ, they should consider again that we belong to Christ just as much as they do.
Spread love everywhere you go.Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier-Mother Teresa.

The python i have been carrying.....

As we have entered into a new year, did you notice that the situations around us have not changed. We have our daily issues still pursuing us with all urgency. The sickness, the debt, the lack, the failures, lack of opportunities, joblessness and endless anxieties , worries , woes , concerns are all along with us. Perhaps, exceeded a little more. All that changed was the date of the new year . Where did all the newness go ? Did we feel any newness in life.....Our hassles and tribulations is always there with us.Whatever we accomplished in the physical did not seem to produce any hope for a longer time. Nothing seems to be working , as years pass by . Our hope also comes to pass, why doesn't it abide in us. That's because our hope is attached to something physical & temporal . As long as we attach our mind to a physical entity , hope shifts to hopelessness in a matter of time. Its like ,living a life coiled and encircled by a mighty python. This python travels with you where ever you go , at the office, home , church and everywhere .You are making the choice of encircling yourself by this python. Our mind carries this python of burdens , hopelessness and ambiguity. A turbulent mind. How do you expect to be fruitful in midst of all this .Is it possible ? Yes its possible to be fruitful . Adam and Eve placed their hope on a physical fruit , ending in hopelessness. The physical entity in which they put their hope and trust , was lacking something.... It was lacking the glory, the love & the promise of God. Now their hope was resting on feeble ground. Our own hope truly speaking is similar to this. It lacks the glory, the love & the promise of God. Yet why do we still hope in the physical and our own strength.

When we attach our mind hoping to the things of the world, there is no infinite value it bears and cannot give meaning , purpose with eternal value. There is a need for our mind to attach to a hope that is eternal . It gives us meaning, purpose & eternal value. Eternal Hope is the fruitfulness we can produce on a daily basis. Only a man with eternal hope could be fruitful. Eternal hope in a man becomes contagious resulting in fruitfulness in others. If there is a void or a ripple in our hope, its never an eternal hope. We know of many people with eternal hope, becoming fruitful for the society. The Samaritan Lady at the well is a good example. Eternal hope could change her life so drastically .
What is eternal hope?
Eternal hope is produced when God's love is poured into us by the Holy spirit . Rom 5: 5 " and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."
Jer17 : 7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,whose trust is the Lord.8 He is like a tree planted by water,that sends out its roots by the stream,and does not fear when heat comes,for its leaves remain green,and is not anxious in the year of drought,for it does not cease to bear fruit.” The continuous supply of water through its roots is the reason for its fruitfulness in all seasons. Rev 22: 6 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star." Jesus is the root through which God supplies his wisdom by the Holy spirit . Jesus is the wisdom of God , 1Cor 1: 30 . We need God's wisdom regularly on a daily basis to remain green and fruitful. God's wisdom is poured into us by the Holy spirit, thats when we have hope. Man lost hope when God's Spirit was taken away from us in the beginning. But that hope was returned when Holy Spirit was poured on to each one of us . Holy Spirit fills us with God's wisdom , which is God's love. We need it on a daily basis. To gather a wisdom about eternal hope everyday is actually experiencing God's perfect love. This perfect love casts out all fear , 1 John 4:18. When we connect our mind to eternal hope, nothing in physical will ever bother us, instead our mind seeks for much more solid ground. An Abraham who waited till age 100, who was glad to give his nephew Lot the best portion of the land, who was ready to sacrifice his own son , who was wandering away from his home town, who had every reason to become hopeless sustained because-" in hope he believed against hope, that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been told, “So shall your offspring be.” Rom 4:8 . He believed in eternal hope against his own human physical hope by sustaining and nursing his mind with a wisdom about eternal hope . The wisdom of hope that God promised him. There is a experential need to abide with hope. It needs to be practiced in faith.
Don't invest your hope in any human being or institution or anything in physical . Start developing or nursing our mind with an eternal hope every moment of our life, we then become fruitful no matter what physical situation we are in . A hope which gives meaning and purpose in every failure ,pain and tribulation in the physical. A hope which can give you peace , joy & value. This is the hope which would abide in us eternally , unlike a scarcely occasional visiting professor .
Proverbs 24:14 Know that wisdom is such to your soul; if you find it, there will be a future, and your hope will not be cut off.

How do we measure our success rate .....
Life's burden, pain and critical decisions made by us often depend on how much we do well in our situations. Its quite natural . We try to assess and compare our success rate with others in the given same situation . If we fail in that assessment , the next step is to retire, agitate or live in agony and bitterness. Our own success stimulates us on how we are to move forward and how we are going to deal with others . What stand we would take henceforth....Thus creating a change in attitude about others & ourself. When we are at office or at any public place , thats where our concern about our own success , mostly disturbs us. We assess it with the recognition and respect we receive from others . Thats when, our thoughts of comparison and recognition begins to play with our mind... We may be the most experienced , skilled, energetic, thoughtful, talented etc... yet despair hits our thought process. Why me Lord, why ? Why is everyone coming against me..... Why can't i see the glory, God promised....Why my body, is even against me !!!! Human wickedness seems to pursue me, where ever i go !!
On the contrary, we all feel benevolent if nothing happens to be annoying us at the moment . But very shortly, the same thing which was making us happy & peaceful turns out to be biting back at us . Our definition of sucess is mostly like, " If i am able to excel in things or acheive a position or recognition with the talent & ability God has given me , i am then successful. " For instance, if i our child is able to do averagely well in his studies in comparison with all the general public, our mind perhaps will settle with that ...We give a pass mark for that in our mind... If we can get out of situation without any burns and losses , yes we are doing well. But whenever we fall short of our achievements or things or recognition, we label others or ourself as something not done properly or unsuccessful. Our idea about success itself is construed and interpreted wrongly. We attach success to achieving things. Success is not in achieving things , but people. Do we try to achieve people in a given situation or rather achieve our own goals or things. According to our definition, Jesus is a loser. He never achieved things, but people. He told the disciples that i will make you fishers of man. In our given situations,where do we put our values on .... God himself saw success in redeeming people even at the cost of his Son's physical life. Do we sow seeds of hope in men...? Do we put our faith to test ,to achieve men..? Have we ever prayed to God desperately to get men on our list of our success? Are we keen to ask our children , like how many friends they made by giving up their own position ..? Have you given up on your manager though he has given up on you ? Are we able to Pray for others when we ourselves are facing pain & tribulation ...? Are we able to pray when our position or respect or role has been removed ? Are we able to see joy & success as we are moving on to our cross . Well, Jesus was able to, John 17."11 And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. 12 While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.....
Heb 12: 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame,
Success is the end product of our Inner man , not our flesh body man . Success is always about things unseen and not on the things seen. Every man has an unseen Inner spirit man which is to be nutured and taken care of .Success ,as defined by the world always fluctuates and is forced to redefine every moment . All our overwhelming success and happiness look like broken toys. The world cannot ever define success in its worldy wisdom because it doesn't know what True Wisdom is. True wisdom is not a thought but is all that God is . 1 John 3: 1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
If the world knew who Jesus was , they wouldn't have crucified him. Our eternal success is in that, we become like Him , as he is now. 1 John 3: 2 Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.
And perhaps , by God's grace , i succeed and for a day or two become consciously dependent on God and draw our strength from him , But when the threat is over , we withdraw from Him and leap back to the toys. Can we see God's presence and success in each person we interact . Can we hang in there always for others.... Could we attach our success to achieving man... the inner man.
Jeremiah Prays for Deliverance
Jer 17 :14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;save me, and I shall be saved,for you are my praise.15 Behold, they say to me, “Where is the word of the Lord? Let it come!”16 I have not run away from being your shepherd, nor have I desired the day of sickness.You know what came out of my lips; it was before your face.17 Be not a terror to me; you are my refuge in the day of disaster.18 Let those be put to shame who persecute me, but let me not be put to shame;let them be dismayed,but let me not be dismayed;bring upon them the day of disaster;destroy them with double destruction!
This is a prayer from Jeremiah ,a young man of God, praying to heal him from his sickness. A ministering prophet , a dedicated servant who proclaims God's own word was afflicted with pain and sickness . God has a reason & purpose for whatever situation we face , be it sickness, pain or any trials. In reply to his earnest prayer , God reveals his objective in this pain and sickness of Jeremiah. Verse 19:-
19 Thus said the Lord to me: “Go and stand in the People's Gate, by which the kings of Judah enter and by which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem, 20 and say: ‘Hear the word of the Lord, you kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, who enter by these gates.
In his sickness God wanted Jeremiah to inform all the people to Hear the word of God and obey it . If anyone among us go through pain and sickness , remember these words of God to Jeremiah . God wants us to hear His Word . What are the words that echo in our mind most often ? It is not words that we safe guard in our heart , but rather we form thoughts, attitudes & our own conclusions .These thoughts are most often negative and deceitful . Our own thoughts in its most logical and intellectual pursuit still lacks something , unlike God's Thoughts . God's thoughts about us are formed in his mind based on God's words. Psalm 139:6-17 “Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!”
Our thoughts are not formed by God's word . Our thoughts are formed by our own wisdom, intellect & tradition. Our thoughts cannot help us beyond a limit , due to the corruption that is in this world through lust of our minds. Our thoughts mostly are concerned , everything about us externally . But God's words and his thoughts have a divine power to empower us not just externally but our inner spirit .His word gives us life and Spirit . Our words cannot give us life whereas His word can give us life. John 6: 63 The words I have spoken to you--they are full of the Spirit and life.
" as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:3-4
Our thoughts and our prayers need to be formed and picturised by God's word. For His thoughts are always for a good future & hope . He never misses his mark . Jer 29: 11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
God reveals the difference between our thoughts & His word to Jeremiah very distinctly. He compares it like a straw & a wheat . A wheat has life in it , while straw doesn't have life. A Straw is hollow and doesn't have any content or cotyledon of life, while the wheat has the cotyledon , a significant part of the embryo within the seed of a plant . Jer 23:28 What has straw in common with wheat? declares the Lord. 29 Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
This was the reason Jeremiah in his sickness was asked to preach the word. God wanted to prepare his people . Its our time to prepare the people around us . To come together as a house of God , as a family of God to hear his word and put them into practice. Sickness was only an external reason to trigger his main purpose of delivering the word .
Suddenly we see Jeremiah being filled with his words and proclaiming it to everyone. There is no report or mention about his illness later on after this chapter ... Jeremiah built the house of God . God is asking each one of us today to come together, deliver his word & build his House. Can we build a house of God ?
Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Matthew 7:24
If God can name every Star in the sky , If he has the count of every hair fall.
If he hears the cry of every young Raven , If he collects every tear that is prayer shed .
Its His word which moves swiftly with fire and accuracy to accomplish the prayer of his beloved .
Finally he tells Jeremiah
Jer 29 : 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.

Faith needs truth & prayer in times of tribulation and pain .
Lot of us in this ever increasing state of competition and hard labour, at times become victims of cruelty and assaults of our employers or colleagues or society . The end of all your efforts, sweat & blood is blown away just like a unwanted piece of light feather . We face a life of slavery in fear , anxiety and heaviness . You lose an understanding of who you are or where you came from, under such circumstances. A slave mind doesn't find value in himself , the whole world gets disconnected from your mind. Your mind fills with fear & pain.
We know about the expatriate Jews at Babylon under the tyrannical leaders like Nebuchadnezzar faced a lot of attrocity and threats. Nebuchadnezzar killed 80,000 Jews. His response to their refusal was a massacre. Babylon was the center of all paganism the world faced at that time. The Jews were asked to discard their morals and their roots .He was evil incarnate and his reign of terror lasted a good half century.The Jews sang this song - " By the rivers of Babylon ....Psalms 137 with lot of grief and distress. The psalm ends with :- "O daughter of Babylon, doomed to be destroyed,blessed shall he be who repays you with what you have done to us! 9 Blessed shall he be who takes your little ones and dashes them against the rock! " Such was the level of cruelty they faced from the babylonians.
Its is God in his sovereign will that he places us in a Babylonian climate. Daniel served under many kings and many cultures ...Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar, Darius, Cyrus and many other kings. God places us under extreme conditions .
Bondage is any impulsive or complusive behaviour that restricts us to enjoy or live the freedom that Jesus died to give us .Your bondage today may be people, lack , sickness , pain , rejection , hurt or anything .
How could Daniel withstand all this and complete his lifecycle according to the will of God ?
Generally a slave mind is very feeble. It is very hard for his mind to observe faith . Don't worry if you are going through it . Even God know its . We need to understand this mind . There is no point compelling that person to observe faith during such times. Its easy for a person outside of that situation to demand faith , but is not truly practical. There was time when i had to go through similar situations . No piece of advise to observe faith & to purify ourselves will help us get over it . In my depression , i was told by my company management that i would not survive much long , back in 2011. The maximum we would get to see you around should be another 3 years. I don't see you going beyond that . The enemy is here to strangle you not just physically , but also emotionally & spiritually . You are in the center of a whirlpool about to be swallowed. The fiery arrows from the enemy are so intense and pins you on to the wall.
When we see Daniel, we see in him, a boldness in speech and proclamation . Several rulers , cultures and dominions passed by in his lifetime . Several threats ,death sentences became part of his life . He had faith in the truth . Truth was very valuable to him , he knew the power of truth . He believed, i am sure, quote Jesus," when you come to know the truth , the truth will set you free." Knowing the truth is just not enough . If we have done something in truth with the right motive, just knowing that fact that it is true, is not enough . We need to be confident about the truth . Truth is exclusive, nothing can change it . Jesus said ," I am the truth ." Truth doesn't need anything to support it . It can stand on its own . But when fear and depression overcomes your mind, you tend to undermine this fact about the truth . The fear and emotion takes control of you more often. Tell your mind that ," I am on the side of truth , I am empowered by this truth. I am not weak , because i am truthful, but rather strong and independent. Because the truth has set me free. We generally try to be free in our situations by freeing ourselves from the situation and a release from the aggression we face . We seek freedom and peace from these . But the true freedom should be sought in the fact that i upheld the truth . I will never do anything to sacrifice the truth . Don't compromise on the truth you believe in.
Daniel was not ready to compromise the truth he believed in . He knew that this truth would set him free. He was praying to his God when the king ordered the worship to any God as a prohibition. Daniel was confident about his truth & knew that this truth would set him free... Nobody can kill your soul even though they kill your body . Once you realise the above, be bold enough for what you stand for . Be bold enough for what you stand for ..... Open your mouth and speak the truth with complete details and confidence ... come what may . Be afraid only about the truth , do not have any fear about anything or anyone else... Once this proclamation comes out . You yourself will experience the freedom , the peace and the confidence. In Daniel's case with Darius , he was not asked or given any opportunity to speak , he was directly thrown into the lions den . There are instances in our life , where we are sent into this den without any explanation. The king who threw him ,also knew the truth in Daniel . There is no shortcut for establishing the truth . But be confident about the outcome when you establish the truth . When Jesus established the truth , it was followed by a victory for many. But the cost of establishing it, was very painful & tormenting. Daniel prayed for establishing the truth. His truth and prayers fought the battle of his faith
We need to understand that we are born into this world to establish the truth . Each one of us are born into this world to honour the truth. You can hear God's voice only if you are for the truth . John 18:37 “Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world–to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.” If you are a witness to the truth , the outcome is nothing short of Glory. Only this establishment of truth in love can allow us to grow in Christ . Or else your growth is still in the flesh body realm. Ephesians 4:15 “Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ…”
Eccles 4 : 1 Again I saw all the oppressions that are done under the sun. And behold, the tears of the oppressed, and they had no one to comfort them! On the side of their oppressors there was power, and there was no one to comfort them. 2 And I thought the dead who are already dead more fortunate than the living who are still alive. 3 But better than both is he who has not yet been and has not seen the evil deeds that are done under the sun.4 Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from a man's envy of his neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.

Times magazine a few years back quoted that the biggest problem the world faces in this generation is not poverty, disease or illiteracy but lack of Truth.....
When my management told me this about my existence further , i believed in that lie intially . But when i knew the truth , it released me . The truth gave me wisdom, power and boldness . The same day Sobha gave me a word which her mother had told her long time back. Ecc 5:8 If you see in a province the oppression of the poor and the violation of justice and righteousness, do not be amazed at the matter, for the high official is watched by a higher, and there are yet higher ones over them.9 But this is gain for a land in every way: a king committed to cultivated fields.
Over every higher official there is a higher official and above that higher one there is the Highest one !!!. This Highest one has to decide whether i have to exit from job or life , not the high offficials beneath him . Its is not my manager or the director above him who decides whether i should stay , but it is that highest one who is in supreme charge - the decision maker. Don't worry about any threats from any human being or prophet ....its the Highest one, The Almighty who manipulates and decides where we are to be . No one below that can decide . This word of truth changed my mind, i experienced the truth , i experienced freedom . I regained power & boldness
The prayers and the truth of the word helped me regain my faith . Lets support people in establishing the truth with all our prayers , Lets be a vessel of faith instead of them . A fighting Joshua in battle had the prayers & faith of Moses on the mountain. Tabitha , Dorcas the lady who died had the support of prayers and faith from her friends and community . Every person in bondage needs our faith & prayers. They are not able to observe it on their own, show mercy & kindness to them by praying and observing faith instead of them. Let your confidence in truth be affirmed.
Daniel himself says... Dan 2: 21 Daniel said, "Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, For wisdom and power belong to Him. 21"It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings;He gives wisdom to wise men And knowledge to men of understanding.

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace” (Colossians 3:15)
Finding daily peace isn’t easy. It is easily stolen. It only takes a simple glance at the world news or an ever increasing to-do list for uncertainty and restlessness to rise up and overwhelm our hearts with anxiety. Any look at the success and joys of those around you can trigger your soul into a never-ending longing for the possessions, personality traits and positions in life that we don’t have. A quick encounter or exchange with a difficult person can quickly take your days of peace. It almost feels like we have to fight for our own peace daily. Peace is the most valuable & wanted commodity the whole world seeks as a community and individually.
How do we establish this peace in our circumstances ? We try to establish peace by our own understanding . Yet we struggle for peace on a daily basis. No matter whatever success and victory we accomplished in our daily life, peace is more valuable than any of these.Peace is the forerunner of joy . The peace of Christ is something which we cannot understand. Peace is established always with God . What is the peace of Christ ? John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.

The peace of Christ is in the Holy spirit .

When our peace & Joy rests in the Holy spirit, God is pleased & it gives us human approval . Rom 14: 17
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,
18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.
The HOLY SPIRIT is received by faith. Its written that peace of CHRIST needs to rule your heart. Usually our own thoughts and understanding rule our heart, which gives no place for the HOLY SPIRIT.
When Sheikh Mohammed rules Dubai, there is a system and discipline he follows. He always protects his kingdom from any external invasion; he is always sharp, focussed and alert. The boundaries of his country is always well guarded. The boundary of our mind needs to be well guarded. Do not allow any other thoughts , opinions , negativity, weakness , lack , disturbance from other people or even low confidence to invade your heart . Its a war to be fought in our mind . There were instances at my work, where i was at one point being totally secluded and lot of hurt feelings gathered up in my mind. We lose our peace when our own mind gathers the things , information pointing towards injustice , attrocity weakness and helplessness .We experience this from people & situations. Our mind latches on to things that we think we can hold on to . But when that grip fails , we lose our calm. If we observe, our human mind, it always attaches itself to things that is seemingly stable . Yet that seemed stable , loses its stability gradually. We attach our mind to earthly realities . Something which may last may be say an 100 years. Whatever , our mind connects to earthly will not ever give us any peace. It has a nature of decaying or fading away. It changes in course of time. Human behaviour changes, Our knowledge & information change. Our confidence changes. Our Thoughts and attitudes change . Even our intelligence & thinking capacity change. I was severely affected that ,as i was secluded from work , felt like a machine . Even a machine is given more care . Where was all this happenning ? -- in my mind.
We look at our failures and rate our self as per the depth of the failure. This is a lie which rules our own thoughts & understanding . THERE is NO PEACE . When Abagus a prophet of God proclaimed that Paul should not go to Jerusalem. Acts 21:10 After we had been there several days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 11Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, bound his own feet and hands, and said, “The Holy Spirit says: ‘In this way the Jews of Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and hand him over to the Gentiles.’” Hearing this every one who listened to it lost there peace. Why didn't Paul lose his peace ? It was because Paul connected his mind ,not to something earthly , but latched on to something which was eternal and everlasting . He knew the crowning climax of his life had to be under the will of God. It was the word of Christ which ruled his heart . Always the word of God is what the Holy spirit provides . This word will give peace in our hearts. Let our mind be attached always to that which is eternal. Acts 21: 13 Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be imprisoned but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”
This is the peace which surpasses human understanding as Paul told in Phil 4: 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. This is the peace which Paul had , when people around couldn't understand , it was beyond there discernment . At office , even after several years of service , i didn't have a chair to sit on . I had to sit on a card board box at a corner and do my work . The Holy spirit gave his thought into my heart ," the chairs you see around you ,are truly not yours . Don't ever assume that , it is yours. Don't you want to know where your chair is? " Eph 2: 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. That's where our true Chair is . When the holy spirit speaks , it is so accurate, on time & spot on . The peace of Christ started flowing into me . Its just another example which all of us have experienced in our lives. Let our minds be ruled by the Holy spirit substituting with our own thoughts. No situation , , no thoughts or no human being can ruin your mind. Peace has to be established with God in the first place . For God , peace is not just peace of mind , it is a covenant , a promise with rewards. He is committed to keep his covenant always ,unlike human beings . His covenant of peace gives us an eternal grip to latch on to . Isa 54: 10 Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
Every word which comes from his word accomplishes its purpose & gives us peace and joy .
Isaiah 55: 11so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
12 “For you shall go out in joy
and be led forth in peace;
the mountains and the hills before you
shall break forth into singing,
and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

The journey of the mind should be always in an advancing mode . In a given situation , there may be different confrontations, opinions, pessimism ,victory , peace and negativity . Despite all this our mind needs to travel ahead rather than hanging on to the past . Its God will that we should always move ahead along with him. We can see this in all the biblical characters we know of.Heb 12: 1 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us . Job 17:9 “The righteous keep moving forward, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger.”
There is a need to understand ,at what stage of journey we are in travelling with God . Lets take the case of Moses . His journey started from the river of Nile,later to the palace of Pharoah. From there to the Burning bush. Ex 3: 2 And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. Here we see a Moses who encounters God visually through a natural phenomenon . He recognizes God through the created world. God talks to him . He tries to understand God through his own wisdom . His mind is hesitant at first to travel with God's mind. He doesn't relaise his own identity . Later on he realises with much protest to discern the understanding about who God is ? His flesh body mind had a struggle intially to comprehend the reality of God. Once this part was clear , his journey was more close and relational with God. From the flesh body realm ,gradually God found a place in his mind . In Deut 32 we see a Moses with God in his mind, in his soul , in his will. Its very important for us to understand , at which stage of the journey we are positioned in . Equally important for hermit as well as a juvenile.Equally important for an experienced Elijah & a juvenile Jeremiah .Each one of us travel and encounter God starting from a experience in our body , then soul & finally in spirit. The culmination is ,when our body perishes & our spirit joins with the Lord .
The journey is as important as the destination. Its a journey of our Flesh body personality to a spiritual identity . 1 Cor 15: 45 Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. 46 But it is not the spiritual that is first but the natural, and then the spiritual. 47 The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven. 48 As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven.49 Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven.
We eventually become a source of life giving spirit to people around us . A Light and a source of inspiration . This is what God expects from us . .Are we an inspiration ? Are we still breathing dust ? Are we a source of joy ?
Why is it important to have an advancing mind ?
An advancing mind is a renewed mind. Only a renewed mind can do the will of God. Or else we get affected by each situation or people. We get confused , upset & disoriented . We lose our peace & joy . Such a mind will not be able to do God's will . Goal & focus becomes unknown & alien. We lose our temperance and fear starts to rule our mind. Instead of an advancing journey , it becomes a life of fear , death & slavery.. A renewed mind of Paul could do the will of God. There was a transformation in Saul who advanced to become Paul . Rom 12: 2," Do not be conformed to this world,but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." An advancing mind gathers wisdom. An advancing mind can interact with anyone , its an exciting journey lead by the Holy spirit . An advancing mind doesn't look for reasons . It looks for accomplishment of Faith.
We know a Jeremiah who was timid and fearful in the beginning. But he was victorious as he advanced each day . Not that he could achieve with his own strength but the Lord wanted a prophet who could rely on him in midst of pain and struggle. Jer 33:3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

Death has been swallowed up in Victory.
When we get Vegetables and fruit from grocery , our next procedure is to store them in a fridge . The intention is, for it to last in a good condition, for a longer period of time. Notice the vegetables are stored in extreme cool conditions and temperatures. It can be itself ,more usuable and maintain its identity when it is allowed to survive in this extreme climate which is below room temperatues. These perishable items are made to stretch its life and thus striving for imperishiability. There is a regular Flow of electricity or charge to keep them under refrigeration.
53 For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. 54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 1 Cor 15: 53-54
God intends us to live a life with the knowledge that -Death is already swallowed up in victory . Can we tell ourselves confidently that -Death is already swallowed up in victory . It was through Jesus we received it . The Holy Spirit like the flow of electricity keeps us imperishable & immortal. Victory has engulfed death . You are now above death victorious , reigning in life. You are destined to reign .
Heb 9: 11-12. Our Inner man , our spirit is now the abode of the Holy spirit . The Holy spirit has been given to us ,now that God can reside in our heart . The laws of God are no more written laws , but its now all under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Holy spirit does the will of God. The law of Christ is the new covenant . 1 Cor 9: 21 To those outside the law I became as one outside the law (not being outside the law of God but under the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law.
Gal5 : 14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another.
Love has become the sum and substance of all laws. Far beyond any mere set of rules, the law of Christ constitutes a complete reordering of life, a total change of heart, mind, intent and purpose—a change brought about by the Holy Spirit at work in us. The law of Christ is identical with the law of God, and it is what the law of Moses, which was temporary, always pointed toward (Romans 3:21-22; 1 Peter 1:10-11; John 5:39-40, 45-46; Luke 24:44-47).
The law of Moses & prophets where actually pointing towards Christ . The law of Christ, which is also the law of God (1 Corinthians 9:20-21), can be summarized by two overarching commands: “This is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us” (1 John 3:23). The love of God can be poured out to others only through the Holy spirit . Otherwise , it is not Love. The presence of Holy spirit in our hearts makes us victorious.
Moses didn't want ,to go alone to Canaan . He wanted God's glory to lead him. He wanted to see the Glory of God go ahead first . When we want to see the Glory of God, His spirit will follow. The question is, whether we want to see the Glory of God in a situation or Our own glory in a situation. Mostly in our situations , in our problems , in our thoughts , we by default analyse it with our wisdom and attitude. We create a negativity in our mind . A situation where Death was already swallowed up by victory.
Our mind is distracted by our opinions and thoughts . Firstly tell your mind ,that i want to see your Glory . Its like the act of placing the vegetables in the refrigerator. Once we place it there, Gods Spirit will charge into our situation.

We have unrest , anxieties & day to day concerns ,given any typical day of our lives . God gives us promises and fulfills them . Yet he takes you through situations , where we are tested with those same promises. One starts to presume the authencity of the blessing or promise. The healing we received is again retested , do we stand ground ? The healed cancer has come again , the good job i received is at doldrums. The earthly blessing we received becomes a resource for God to work his eternal blessings . God works with & through the promise .
After years of waiting and prayers, Abraham & Sarah received their blessing as Issac , it was a great miracle.Their whole generation could witness it. It was a earthly blessing fulfilled . Yet the same blessing was asked to be sacrificed . The promise fulfilled was to be brought to the altar . Why does God do this ? It may create a sort of unbelief or wavering attitude in us . Was it God himself who gave me this blessing ? We may even try to link it to our sin . God may give you a pain at the spot you were healed. He may give you a lack at the area where you were blessed. God may weaken you, in the area of your talents . Why does God allow it ? Gods wants us to be set apart , to be made holy . He wants us to know him more, his power of ressurrection and also share in his sufferings.
Phil 3: 8b For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith— 10 that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.

Abraham even though he recieved the promised child, his mind valued the faith in God more than the promise or blessing. He found fulfillment in the righteousness or the right standing he received from God through faith . In any given situation , these are the 2 parameters which our mind can attach itself. One is the clinging on to the promise and another to the righteousness we received through faith. Abraham had this choice when he faced a situation of losing the promise . He chose the latter . Abraham believed that God could raise his child from the ashes . He was not wavered concerning the promise . God wants us to experience his ressurrection power through the blessing we received
Rom 4: 19 He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness[b] of Sarah's womb. 20 No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, 21 fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.
When we see that a promise given is drifting away, that is the time we lose faith. That is called DEATH. The time we lose our faith we enter death . God wants us to experience it . Not just experience it , but also to be ressurected from it by faith in our Lord and saviour Jesus. It can often occur very frequently in our daily life. This is the life God expects us to live - in a risen state .
Jesus himself had to experience Death to gain the complete righteousness of God . God intends a new life .
Death is the prerequisite to resurrection, the new life God intends

If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things? John 3: 12.
Atheist is someone who doesn’t believe in the presence of God by definition. Honestly speaking there is no one called Atheist. Nobody can claim for himself, that he is an atheist . Its a false claim. The most intelligent brain in human history is scientifically estimated to have only 2 % of the total Information available in our Physical realm. What does this mean ? If 2% ,is the only maximum amount of information that an individual could probably possess , then wouldn’t it be possible that—in the remaining 98 % of his ignorance , there is a chance that wisdom about God is not being gathered by that individual. Hence there is nothing called Atheist . Its just lack of wisdom . When Wisdom is added , when light is added, when truth is being revealed , the nature of Atheism decreases. Honestly speaking , to an extend we are all atheists occasionally . How do we know that ? Our reliance and connectivity of our thoughts at the time of trial & pain . Our first attitude at the time of trial & pain is always atheistic. We can understand it ,when we analyse it closely .
God gives you a lot of proof & evidence of his presence in this world as mentioned in Rom1: 19-20. But yet there is a Hidden nature of God. Prov 25: 2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
In 2011 , personally when I went through a depression and meaninglessness in my life , i discovered that ,I was truly an atheist . You truly know that God is there, when God himself creates a situation in our life ,when we are choked and blocked mentally & physically in all spheres of our life. It took me at least 1 and half year to come out of it . I was ripped apart, with all my body fluids & measurements sky rocketing, height of sickness, irresistible mental trauma and much more. I forgot the art of sleeping . Everday Sobha had to pray for me in the middle of the night. This is the situation of an atheist without hopelessness and grip in life. God revealed himself to me through different sources. Through my wife, through the word, through the situations, through other people , through my awareness about my ignorance, through my physical body, through my inner man. In short , God definitely reveals himself in all compartments of your Personality—Body , soul & spirit . He gave me a shot of his flavour, aiming at my body , soul & Spirit. He uses all his creation & his power to reveal himself . Job saw a God , when he was rock bottomed. He plans it always, in his majestic brilliance to reveal himself. He will do it in every situation if we expect & believe that he will do it
Do you know why God wants to reveal himself ? Its because , he is a revealer . Revealing himself ,is part of he being right with us. Revealing himself is the Righteousness of God . God wants to reveal his righteousness in every situation . I could see the righteousness of God in my atheism and ignorance. I could feel his glory in my ignorance. The Word became real to me in my daily life. The Word gave me the righteousness of God. The Word gave me the power and healing . The word came into me through Faith and created in me a Faith ….Rom 1: 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith. Its God wish to reveal himself to all atheists , he does it in his righteousness
I thanked my Lord , that he showed me my ignorance and my atheism. When we share the word in faith, we are not just sharing a piece of English sentence. We are sharing the Power of God. We are sharing the Holy spirit . The most stony object or a completely rotten dead body or soil comes to life. The Holy spirit will start his work . Rom 8: 11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
Every dead human spirit rejuvenates into new life by the Holy Spirit . Be confident and true to yourself . When you make a single step, God would already have made ten steps. In my ignorance , I had to force myself the word of God in a very mechanical way . With all unbelief which was accumulated in my mind , I took the word in blind faith . Me myself preaching to me , commanding myself with the Word and being a servant to the word- I saw my salvation , I saw my family , I saw my children, I saw myself..... rise with healing in its wings. Glory to God….
Mal4 : 2 But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall. 3 And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the Lord of hosts.
God brings atheists between us to make us his letters and his sign post . 2 Cor 3: 3 And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. 4 Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God. 5 Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God,

Mat 5: 17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
The righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees consisted of seeking the acceptance of God by their careful adherence to their rules and traditions. “I keep more rules than you do, so I’m more righteous than you!” But the righteousness that exceeds this comes from faith in God. When we act in faith before God, God grants us His own righteousness. Anytime we think ,we justify our goodness by pointing out what good things we’ve done, we behave just like a self-righteous Pharisee. But when we humble ourselves and point to the work of Christ to save us, then we have exceeded the righteousness of the Pharisee.

Romans 3:31 Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.

How do we uphold or Fulfill the law by faith ?
What happens when we practice faith . When we believe in Christ we receive the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is the promise God gave to Abraham .Acts 19: 2 And he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” 6 And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them. When we receive the Holy Spirit, the word of God no more remains outside us or external . The word is inside us , it becomes part of us. God becomes a reality in our being . God is no more outside us, He is within us . The Holy Spirit is reality and the promise we receive by Faith . You are no more alone. You are no more alone ..... Your burdens become lighter, Your troubles are shared, Your griefs are borne ,
What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry....
Blessed Savior, Thou hast promised
Thou wilt all our burdens bear;
May we ever, Lord, be bringing....
Gradually you also turn into an individual ,who is capable of bearing other's burden as well. You become equipped by The Holy spirit through faith to bear other's burden as well. Look at Moses, Paul & all the apostles , how their journey started in faith ended in carrying others burden.
Gal 6: 2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Jesus once explained very precisely about the fulfillment of law to a Pharisee...Mat 22: 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
Love is the sum and substance of all the laws, it is journey from faith to faith , it is faith enlarged and supplemented.
2Pet 1: 5 For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, 6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, 7 and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.

When do we Live ? “Life is truly a reconciliation of God with man ,an experience in its fullness to such a glorious level, that the Love, promises & plans of God become a reality ,where every moment we find the sense of wonder, mystery ,hope in discovering the treasure that is within us.”
Col 1: 27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Col 1: 9 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
In fact Jesus talks of such a person. He speaks of a merchant looking for a precious pearl who, when he found the pearl of great price, sold all he had previously considered worthwhile in order to buy it. That pearl of great price, pragmatically speaking, is that search for the heart to find its complete fulfillment. It was thrilling and exciting. Do we have that thrilling and joy element in life. What kind of life are we living currently ?
God is delighted to be connected with us . He is married to us. Is 62: 5 ," For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee. "
Are we thrilled about this marriage . God is thrilled about it, like a husband who never leaves or forsakes us. Are we aware about such a relation with our Lord ? God had to pay a huge sum or bride-price to enter into this marriage relationship. Yet we are like strangers at times. Like a wife ,who doesn't know her husband . We remain in this estranged state until we are available , responsive & affirming . For eg..., When a wife is feeling disconnected, it can be caused by a husband working 12 hrs a day. He is unavailable for his wife and family.And when he is available, how responsive is he? Is He or she adding and affirming value to each other. God is doing this part with us , are we still like an estranged wife ?
Moses , David, Paul and all apostles had a similar experience with God. They were available, responsive and affirming in all their walk with God. A simple eg is Jesus being available, responsive & affirming with a Zacchaeus .Luke 19 : 4 And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.5 And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.6 And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
When a man avails, responds & affirms with another, the other one experiences a connection, a saving grace & moreover understand his true identity . Luke 19 : 9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, for so much as he also is a son of Abraham.
Zaccchaeus life changed for ever, he was no more a stranger . He now experienced Life in its fullness to such a glorious level, that the Love, promises & plans of God became a reality ,where every moment he found the sense of wonder, mystery ,hope in discovering the treasure that was within him.”
For the first time, he was living life in its fullness.

God is near to the broken hearted , he hears the mumur of each heartbeat and the silent cry of an innocent soul. God in his supreme mercy does show us justice , mercy & righteouness in our pain . A God who cries with you , A God who knows to pacify you like a lovely mother, A God to whom we can cry & lean on without shame.Heb 4: 15 "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin." We have been blown off , robbed, tormented by the world and its people , that all those past experiences make us defensive and maneuver our current responses.
No one can replace or revoke the gift God has placed on us. We do not have to fear about it. Everyone has a place in Christ . We act at times ,as if someone is going to take our gift or the place Christ gifted to us in his grace. Which predictably causes a selfish and insecure attitude in our interactions and whereabouts. Our Thought Mantra then confers to--"Survival of the fittest " , but through Christ , it is " Triumph of the Meekest.", Mat 5: 5," Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth." At times we ourselves are the reason to void or nullify this blessing, neither God , nor others
Its in the Garden of Eden that we lost the right standing with God . We lost our Holiness . Holiness has been categorized as a cynical word in this generation. Even the gift God gave you is HOLY. He is a Holy God, his gift is holy . Jesus was reaffirming the tax collectors, the sinners & all the unwanted - that Kingdom of GOD is at hand . Jesus made all of us righteous & Holy . Holiness is what God is , in his fullness . The Gift also contains the fullness of God. What are we trying do to others . Are we trying to teach others or race with others ? Can we boldly tell an unbeliever or a person with less faith with all confidence that--- you are righteous & holy ? Can we tell him , that the gift he possess is also HOLY. We are so overcome by self righteousness & pride that we tend to become a legalist.
Why do we live the old life still now?
1) We have learned Christ in our own way . 2) Because of our deceitful selfish desires and ambiguities . But Jesus gave us a New awesome life by saying that we are the image of God in righteouness & Holiness. Eph 4 : 20 But that is not the way you learned Christ!— 21 assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, 22 to put off your old self,which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, 23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
If we study the last 3 rulers that presided over the dissolution of the nation of Israel , we can understand how they brought down a nation with their character. –Solomon, Reheboam & Jereboam.
Solomons ambiguities and past struggles were:-
1)Born under a cloud of nation under Gods judgement – betrayal by a mother & Murder by a Father
2)Raised under fall out of a charismatic Older brother Absalom
3)Appointed king in the hazy surrounding of a possibly engineered appointment(Nathan & Bathsheba had colluded in this. There was a revolt – it wasn’t direct accession)
These past experiences may have maneuvered his later responses. He was a gifted man of great Astuteness, but blind to lot other issues:

No matter we have a wisdom to discern right & wrong, yet our own passions are going to be stronger and challenging us. Solomon was known for his wisdom . Each of us are immensely gifted in different areas . But our struggle is in this area. Have you noticed it. Our main struggle is always in the area of our gifting . We need to be confident about our gifting . God doesn't work through abrasive & aggressive use of our gift. God works through his delight & accuracy of his word .
Prov 8:30-31."Then I was beside Him, as a master workman; And I was daily His delight, Rejoicing always before Him, Rejoicing in the world, His earth, And having my delight in the sons of men." Luke 3:22," And a voice came from heaven: You are My beloved Son. I take delight in You!"
Faith is the confident acknowledgement of God's gift .
Hormones in our body provoke us into temptation , it will appear that stolen waters are more sweet. It will appear that refined and articulate use of the gift enables God's purpose.
Untamed passions of a Gifted man :-
Have you noticed the desert trees , with one rain or storm it comes off. The roots are not deep. Nourishment is available on the surface itself. Wisdom, pontification, wealth everything came easily for Solomon. Passions needs to be tamed & accountable to any friend who can correct you always. If I am right ,Solomon is the only king ,where we see ,there is no prophet advising him , when he went wrong & astray . He was clear about his gifting and talents but it was untamed . God's grace pours in & out of us according to the gift he gave us .Eph 4: 7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Why does God gift us ? So that we rise to a maturity , uniting ourselves with the body of Christ , not just presiding ourselves with the body of Christ. Eph 4: 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
David had a Nathan to guard , advise and guide him when he went out of track. Solomon , i am sure, had a friend like Nathan , but he couldn't see that Nathan. He was soaked in his Gift so much that , he couldn't hear the wisdom of any lesser gifted Nathan around him . Can we see the Nathans God sends us. Are we so gifted that you don't need a Nathan ? Our own heart decieves us at times, Allow our ears to also incline towards a Nathan among us.

The word Nathan means- Gift of GOD.

“Without faith,” says the text, “it is impossible to please God.” There are some men who have a kind of faith, and these are, perhaps, in a more dangerous condition than those who have none at all, because they are apt to deceive themselves, and fancy that they are in a state of grace, whereas they are still in a state of nature. The faith which pleases God is no mock faith, no dead faith, no false faith, and no faith in a lie! It is faith in the truth, it is true faith, and it is spiritual faith. The faith that saves the soul, and makes it pleasing before God is real faith. Many say that they believe a thing, but they do not truly believe it—it is not real to them. They say, “Yes, such-and-such a doctrine is true,” and they write it down in their creed, and then put the creed away on the top shelf of their bookcase—and it lies there covered with dust! A man only believes that which affects his life. If it is an important truth, if he has really believed it, it will touch every nerve of his being. It will often hold him back from one course, and with equal force, compel him to another. True faith is the most active motive power in the whole world! “Faith, which works by love,” works all sorts of marvels, and where there is this true faith, it will prove its reality by its practicalness. The faith of God’s elect is not a dead faith. “God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.” Neither is He the God of dead faith, but He is the God of living faith! God grant that we may, each one of us, possess this real God-given blessing! But if we have merely a notional, nominal, historical faith which does not affect our lives at all, we are in the same condition as those who have no faith—and “without faith it is impossible to please God.”
Faith is always a sign of submission of our own ego and authority to God. It is a perfect submission of our will to the will of God. God's will is always not self seeking and self affirmation of our own self. It is selfless and considers the growth of everyone around . It is allowing others to experience life the way God desires for them . It is encouraging others and allowing others to be a part of Christ's body . Its not just the pastor of a church who needs to grow , but each and every member or organ of Christ needs to be uplifted . 1 Thess 3: 12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

Ps 119: 160 ,"The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting."
The word has to be understood by revelation of the Holy spirit . The Holy Spirit is a Spirit of Truth . The head of thy word is truth.” The “principles” of God‘s word were truth, and are based on truth. The main thing - that on which all relied - was truth, absolute truth. It was not “made” truth by the mere will of God, but it was “founded on” essential truth. The word never has to be used to twist and express our own views, attitudes and reviews. It is not a tool to express subjective responses & thoughts. God is a holy God who considers his word above himself. Psalm 138:2 that God “magnified his Word above all his name,” This is the attitude of God. He considers his words more important than his own being , or his own subjectiveness. That is why his word has power , comfort , peace & sanctity. His words are sharp , short , but to the point . It gives us conviction , encouragement & all confidence.

How do we choose the words we say. I have seen priests & preachers misuse the word to affirm their own authority & thus moving away from the true will of God. It is really unedifying , if the preacher manipulates the word to justify subjective thoughts and attitudes. Gods words & thoughts are precious. Ps 139: 17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Of all that is in the universe, He has chosen to exalt His Word. It was not a casual work that He tossed off in a moment of boredom. It is not even just one great work among many. It is the work that God has magnified because it is perfect, holy, complete, living, powerful, and transformational. It tells us all that God wants us to know and everything that we need to know. It is important to God and ought to be important to us. “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away,” declared the Lord Jesus (Matt. 24:35), who also said that “the scripture cannot be broken” (John 10:35). Should not what is important to God be important and precious to us? Is it?

Satisfaction in our ministry & life are achieved when we see the fruit of our words. The deeds of a man's hand will return to him. Prov 12: 14 , " A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his words, And the deeds of a man's hands will return to him." Prov 25: 11," Like apples of gold in settings of silver Is a word spoken in right circumstances." If we truly approach the seat & presence of God, he gives us daily what we need. Isaiah 50: 4 "The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of disciples, That I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple."

How can we travel and live with God?
Ps 15:1-2, O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill?
2:He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart.Speak truth in our heart.
Zech8:16 and Eph4:25 tells us that we need to speak the truth to one another.
What truth we keep in our heart? What truth do we speak to each other ? Do we use truth to communicate with each other? Jesus always used the scripture. We use truth to communicate at churches and prayer meetings. It is not our regular mode of correspondence. How then can we expect this truth to set us free and free indeed?
40 days in desert, Satan was quoting the truth as Bread is what we Humans need. Truth was displayed like a material need – as basic human need. But Jesus displayed that the Word of God is our basic human need. This is how we get enchanted by the world's truth. Satan' s Truth is to inflict pain in the children of God. God says spiritual first , the rest will follow. For instance .., To the 4 men who where lowering the paralytic thru the roof- --notice Jesus 1st gave the Truth for their spiritual need- He said "Your sins are forgiven" , the healing which was their physical need followed after their spiritual need of forgiveness sufficed.
God's Truth sets us free in spirit, soul and body.
Charles sobharaj we all know a prisoner who always escaped jail and was caught again and again. While escaping he thought he was free. But truly speaking he was not Free indeed .If the court told him that you are forgiven- He would have become FREE INDEED.
Being free and Being Free indeed are 2 different things.John8:36" if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
World's truth gives us only a temporary Freedom -> resulting in:-
1.Shame ending
2.No inheritance or possessions.
3. No protection or seal.
4. No Guarantee

Eph1:13"
13:In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,
14:who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.
TRUE FREEDOM IS ETERNAL GLORY THRU CHRIST JESUS WHO IS THE GUARANTEE , THE SEAL,THE FORERUNNER IN OUR INHERITANCE .
