Why is it easy to judge others  than showing patience, kindness & forebearance?  Is our vision speckled?

Our mind typically has a tendency to cling  on  to a standard or a yardstick like a radar . When  our mind is  always calibrating the good or bad of others , unintentionally the yardstick our mind habitates  to is the LAW  rather than the mind  of Christ , as a result we always judge instead of displaying  forebearance.  When we see & hear a person through the lens of  Law , the only thing we see & hear is always   imperfection . Because the Law always discloses   how bad you are , it can never show how good you are. Think about  this , if your life partner or your employer always conveys , how bad you are and is the only thing he does all the time—would you choose to stand with that approach ? Never, it would moreover demotivate you .  God knows our weakness much more than we know it ourselves.  Rom 3: 20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.”   For eg ., Road traffic  laws  always punishes us for our mistakes ,it never gives us  any points for our good driving . Likewise  if our mind is always attached to this Law, we  become judgemental.

But if we see & hear through  Christ who is the perfect law or the Law of the Spirit then we don’t judge or condemn by what we see or hear . We need to see or hear others through the understanding of Jesus  with a spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel & fear of the Lord. Jesus never judged anyone  with his eyes or ears. Isaiah 11:1-3” And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:2 And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears.

Why do we Love the Law most of the time  more than Christ ‘ Love ?

Its because we assume Love is produced by  we doing something to please  others . Love is produced actually when we  understand our weakness and  forgive  others for their  weakness . Our Love increases when we accept the weakness of another person . A child feels the utmost love of his mother  when she loves her child so dearly at times of  his weakness & feebleness.  As we  understand  or get closer to Christ , we see our own weakness  , hence producing  forgiveness, forbearance  & patience  towards others – which is eventually Love or Brotherly affection .  The Pharisees loved the Law of Moses  when the perfect Law of God, Jesus Christ was still in front of them.  They claimed to Love God more than Christ himself. They thought they could please or love  God with their works & good deeds , this was their definition of Love; at times ours too. We seem to find ourselves more comfortable with the idea of exercising the Law  fulfilling  our love to God than we are with the idea of Love fulfilling the law. We believe that  by law we can satisfy us & God . We believe through law we can love God & others.  It’s the other way round- By loving others we can fufill  God’s law . In other words, love is bigger, wider, broader, deeper and richer than the law. But the difference between the law and love is that love works from the inside and the law works from the outside. Christs Love is unconditional , whereas the Law is conditional.

The more we understand how much we’ve been forgiven, the more we love God who forgives us. And the more we love God who forgives us, the more we forgive our neighbor who wrongs us. Forgiveness generates love, and love generates forgiveness. Love comes from God. He loved us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:6-8), and in Christ he demonstrated his love for us by forgiving us.

Why does   your own  log not appear  but only the speck of your brother?

The log is actually the wisdom about our own flesh body nature. We always attach our strengths with our personality . We mostly do not see our own  weakness or negativities  because we fear it .  Jesus never feared a weakness in being a man. He was proud to call himself the Son of Man.  Jesus  was exalted to Glory .We feel our weakness will ruin our existence and sustenance .Since mostly we rely on our own strength rather than in God . We always  fear  'cause we lack Faith.   We see the speck in our brothers eye because the log in our eye has made us blind ; what we now see is only the flesh body or the blurred sight of your brother. But we fail to see the actual spirit man made in the image of God. 1Cor1:27-29 ” 27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; 28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, 29 so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.” Jesus saw  the glorious inner spirit man in a Peter though he was  betrayed by him.  What do we see in others ? Do you see Jesus in others ? Or do you see  an imperfect man in his flesh nature  ?  Jesus saw a Jesus in Peter  . Thats why  he could call him the rock . God considers us more important and above the law. Do we consider others above or below the law ?

Colossians 2:14 having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. The Law is spiritual ,holy, good and righteous but it cannot make me spiritual, holy, good and righteous. Rom 8: 3 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

“Emerson said, Do you love me? means Do you see the same truth?-Or at least, "Do you care about the same truth?”
